Another one, this one clearly from reference as opposed to memory, and though there’s a slight jump in the quality of presentation, you can still pretty much feel the presence of the bear that always shows up when I try to draw women.
To be honest, the bear WAS there, but I cropped it out.  I should stick to writing.

Gosh this is amazing. I mean, I do enjoy my women with bears, but I can make an exception.

This is the first shoot from my Jello project. I am trying to display and somewhat mock the gender roles that were set up in the fifties (and to some extent are still laced in society). The fifties food wise was all about convenience and highly processed meals, and thus Jello salads and meals were born, containing the entirety of a perfect meal in a shiny wiggling form. I wanted to use the aesthetics of the decade and make a “perfect meal,” consisting of what each gender trope would “want.” This is the wife’s.
