Cat’s Cradle, by Jenny Zandona. Just a quick painting/drawing I finished this morning.
This is my newest illustration, heavily heavily inspired by Raphael from My Dead Pony. Hopefully he doesn’t mind me taking inspiration from him, and he does amazing things that I could never dream of doing so you should definitely head over to his site and look through his amazing illustrations.
These are just some pictures from a project I did last year trying to discuss feminism and gender roles in the fifties, along with consumerism, in the form of jello…it was a weird and complicated project that I still am interested in and love the medium but don’t know how to execute it articulately and with finesse… anyyywayyy…I still like the photos and have been messing around with them to try and give them a 50’s vibe. So enjoy.

Found a quote by artist Paul Cezanne that I thought would be fun to illustrate somehow. I am trying to make one small piece of art a day. This is todays! Enjoy! (Since I didn’t have my tablet pen, I had to take fonts from free online sources, so excuse my lack of creativity. )
