I really dislike this recent glamorisation of the word ‘awkward’. stop constantly saying that you’re ‘awkward’, stop using it as your main identifier, stop acting as if it’s a great, unifying trait to have one minute and an awful burden the next, stop claiming that you have anxiety disorder just because you sometimes say ‘awkward’ things in social situations, stop using ‘I’m awkward!’ as an excuse to choose to never interact with people in the real world if you’re then going to complain about how you have no friends.

on the other hand, if you’re actually having trouble and you feel like your awkwardness is having a debilitating effect on your life, please go and seek help. if it’s making you that unhappy, that’s no way to live. talk to someone about it! I’m serious. I’m not just being a bitch here. it’s a thing you can work on. please do that.

Awkward is the new equivilent of “random” in the early 2000’s, when everyone was preaching how OMG random they were.

Another one, this one clearly from reference as opposed to memory, and though there’s a slight jump in the quality of presentation, you can still pretty much feel the presence of the bear that always shows up when I try to draw women.
To be honest, the bear WAS there, but I cropped it out.  I should stick to writing.

Gosh this is amazing. I mean, I do enjoy my women with bears, but I can make an exception.

Details of the home by Jenny Zandona. I’m thinking of creating a book with photos and art based on my shifts between Washington and where I grew up to Southern California.

Hard at work as an intern.

My mock up for my first tattoo. Super excited about it! I finally figured out where I wanted to get the prism, and it suddenly hit me and the placement is actually significant to me.  Design is mine. :]

So excited!

I have the most amazing intership lined up with photographer Jennie Warren. It’s going to be so fun and awesome to work with her and help out on shoots, with her site, etc. You cannot even fathom how stoked I am for this oppurtunity.

This is some of her beautiful work, check out her site!
